Selling Lifelong Collections

As most of our followers know, we have a weekly auction — but we also have a bimonthly international auction out of our Fourth Street location in St Petersburg. We typically assign a theme to them. Currently, we are taking a consignment of antiquities combined with vintage militaria for the next auction, in addition to our normal fine and decorative arts. This auction will feature two collections, both with terrific provenance.

Private Museum Of Militaria

The first collection features antiquities collected by an 80-yearold retiree from the time he was a child in the 1940s. Each piece, from 300 B.C. to A.D. 200, was carefully cataloged with original receipts.

The second collection we are selling for another lifelong collector. His carefully curated, private museum of militaria has identified helmets, metals, uniforms and historical battlefield excavation materials. Pictured are three of the antiquities, estimated at $100-$1,000 each; and one spectacular Indo-Persian Khula-Khud helmet, estimated at $3,000-$5,000.
