Chinese-Made Does Not Mean Inferior

A few weeks back, we proudly wrote about an impressive collection of exquisite guitars sourced from the estate of a devoted guitar collector. He was not a guitar player, so his meticulous collection was in exceptional condition. We managed to surpass the estate’s initial offers from guitar dealers by double!

Our expertise in vintage guitars is well-established, as we previously sold one for $20,000 about a decade ago. Acquiring this collection not only reignited our knowledge and passion for guitars but also attracted the attention of other collectors, leading to our selling two additional collections.

Eastman Guitars Are Easier And More Fun To Play Than A Gibson

This month we are delighted to announce yet another collection on behalf of a client. While some of the guitars in
this collection are vintage, the majority are contemporary. Notably, one of the standout pieces in this modern
assortment is an Eastman guitar made in China! Surprisingly, this company was established in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese music student who honed his craft in luthiery (the art of making stringed instruments) during his time in the
U.S. Ni drew inspiration from the rich traditions of 18th-century German luthiers and embarked on a mission.

He scoured China for talented luthiers and artists, merging their expertise with traditional methods and modern assembly line techniques to produce fine instruments at a more affordable price point. Online comments are startling, with many saying these are easier and more fun to play than a Gibson! (Purists may scoff at this.) This Archtop Single Cutaway Hollowbody is wine-red in color, laden with ebony and has a presale estimate of $1,200 to $1,500, even though it was made in 2018! If you have a single rare musical instrument or a collection, contact us! We will buy for
cash or offer at auction!

WE ALSO BUY GOLD COINS FOR CASH.
