This Ulysse Nardin 1914 pocket watch is one of the finest and most beautiful watches we have ever owned. It is the complete package: original box and papers, and incredible signature of the artist, Adrien Huybers. The repoussé work is nothing short of extraordinary.
A Masterpiece Religious Pocket Watch
The quality of the movement is spectacular, the dial is a masterpiece and the condition is excellent, but the subject matter — as beautiful as it is to some of us of a religious nature — is nevertheless difficult to market because of two things: 1. Religious items are desirable to a limited audience based on the particular religion depicted in the art; and 2. The modern-day mindset among many is that it is blasphemous, even though such pieces were often made for clergy and the devout.

ULYSSE NARDIN 1914 CHRIST POCKET WATCH / $3,000
A watch by Ulysse Nardin with any other subject matter would be worth $5,000 to $7,000. We purchased this watch for $2,000 and would be happy to sell it for $3,000.
