Gold Native American Artisan Jewelry

We are constantly on the lookout for Native American jewelry. Squash blossom necklaces, bracelets, pendants and rings are hot right now, bringing way over their silver value. Pre-1930 silver pieces are sought after as well as 21st century artisan-signed jewelry.

A dealer from Wisconsin had two unusual gold jewelry pieces that certainly were worth more than their gold value. Because of the heaviness of the jewelry, he had already received five offers (that were close to gold value). He asked if we would try it on our online auction site — we call it “the great equalizer.” The pieces were signed by one of the most
talented and heralded modern Native American goldsmiths, Jesse Monongya. The workmanship was exquisite and it  far exceeded our auction estimate; the bracelet sold for $15,000 and the necklace sold for $9,000.
